RaeLynn graduated from Helena High School on Saturday, June 6, 2009. It was a very cold day. I think the high was like 49 degrees. When we woke up in the morning...IT WAS SNOWING!! I guess that is Montana for you! The ceremony was held at Carroll College. If it was nice, it was suppose to be outdoors, but was held in the gymnasium, instead.
It was a very exciting day. I, of course, was tearful. I just tear up every time I hear Pomp and Circumstance. Even when I was in band and playing it! There was one boy in Rae's class that had died in February from MS. His mother excepted his annual and diploma. I don't think I could have done that. When she was excepting the diploma, I started to cry...again.
Here is RaeLynn getting ready to come in!

Rae found her Mom and Grandma

Looking for dad, when she found him and was waving...Mike put the camera down and didn't get a picture of her waving, guess I should have had the other camera out and getting it!

This is Mr. Hartman, one of the teachers at Helena High. This was his last year and he is retiring after 40 years of teaching.

Senator Max
Baucus was a special speaker. He was celebrating his 50
th Class Reunion from Helena High.

One of her classmates singing. He has a wonderful voice!

Getting ready to go up for her diploma. Looks like she is starting to get warm.
