Post Holiday Party

On Friday we had our Post Holiday Party for work. Mike was unable to attend so I went "stag" and took many pictures...Just call me the paparazzi!! I had a lot of fun. One of my co-workers asked me if I was "Lit" because my face was a little on the red side, it was just very warm in the place where we were at. The party was held at the Eagles Lodge. It is a new building on the north side of Spokane. It was a very nice place. For dinner we had prime rib, baked potato, green beans, salad, shrimp, dinner roll and cheese cake for dessert. YUMMY!! (I couldn't eat all my prime rib, so I took it home for Mike to enjoy)

He got a photo album and a gift card to Walmart. BUT we both share!! Next year, he will be able to go with me and we will have a much better time!!
I wanted to add....I absolutely love my co-workers. They are a great bunch of people and seem more like "Family". They have helped me become more situated to life in Spokane without feeling so lonesome, especially with Mike working evenings.

More Snow Fun

Sighhhh...The kids are gone now and it is so quite around here with Mike working the evening shift. He is next on the list if a day shift opening occurs. One bad thing, I am a supervisor on the largest unit in our building and he cannot work under me, so if an opening comes up on our unit, we have do some major shuffling of staff. That's okay with me as long as he is able to get to day shift soon!! Here are some last pictures of fun with the kids before they headed back to Helena.
Caite trying to walk through the snow
Can you see Caite peaking over the snow berm?
A view from our bedroom window
All the snow on the roofs
The city and fire departments have asked that if people knew where there were fire hydrants near where they lived, to please dig them out. Mike and Caite were on a mission until they finally found it!
"By George, I think we found it!"
Where are you guys at??
Oh, here it is!!
I love how red Caite's cheeks are.
This is a night view down our sidewalk
Mike took this picture, the tree was so heavy from the snow and was bent over the road.
