Family Visit

It has been been a couple of weeks since we have posted a blog. The kids went back to Helena for school and will not be back until their break during MEA, which is not until October. I have been putting in some long hours at work because we are down 4 nurses. I really hadn't felt the nursing shortage until now. I guess it really is going on. I only wish I could convince more young people to go to school for nursing!

Anyways. Mom, Walker and my baby nephew, Evan, came to Spokane a couple weekends ago. This is the first time Mom and Walker have been here since we have moved and it was the first time that we saw each other since Memorial Day weekend. THAT IS WAY TO LONG!!! It was so nice to spend time with them. On Saturday, my sister-in-law Sarah and my nephew, Jaeger came over from Portland, also. So it was a wonderful time! (at least for me!!)

I took Mom, Walker and Evan to Riverfront Park and Walker and Evan went on the carousel. Evan did not want to get off. I got some pretty good pictures I think.
Yeee Haa!
Hang on, Baby!
Somebody is mad that they had to get off the carouselThis is a BIG RED WAGON in Riverfront Park. The handle is is a slide.
"Hi Grandma and Auntie!"
I wanted to get a picture of Evan on the CITY OF SPOKANE blocks I did of our kids a couple of summers ago, but there were people there that would not move, so we did the next best thing and got an "E" for Evan!!
See the ducks?
This is the water fountain/spray park at Riverfront. Evan loved it!!
Lets go through it again, Walker!
